The Pine House
Lavasan

The Pine House is located in Lavasan, a family suburb of the capital Tehran
(Iran). For the interior and exterior design of this multi-family house, the focus
was on the view and the connection with nature. From the inside, the goal
was to feel as though you are outside, with the main view of the Alborz Mountains.
Large windows and open spaces create a view that extends through to
the end of the apartment.

Guest Area

In the design of the multi-family house, one of the key points was to create more seating options inside for the colder months,
allowing guests to be hosted in the house rather than in the garden or guest room on the ground floor.

Abundant light and a connection to the outdoors are central features of living culture in Iran.

The glass-enclosed guest area receives ample light from three sides, providing an open view of nature and giving the impression of sitting on a terrace.

The fully glazed wall, which also serves as a large piece of art, introduces different colors to the apartment across various seasons.

To avoid obstructing the view, the white daybed is designed with a short backrest and narrow legs. With its waterproof and soft
covering, the sofa can be used as terrace furniture in the summer and as part of the guest area indoors in the winter, complementing
the snow-covered mountains.

For the large 5-seater sofa, we chose a light pinkish beige velvet fabric that harmonizes
with the brown mountains and the sunset. Despite the many seating options, there is a sense of lightness and openness.
